What resolution do you game at? If you're gaming at 1680X1050 and under, stick with your 8800GTS. Otherwise, the GTX260 is a good buy.

Damn it I want that 9800GTX+

and fc2 lags sometimes too when i put higher and higher..might be software problems though? cause they're downloaded copies of fc2 and crysis warhead..but never had a problem in the past. planning to play GTA4 too , heard pretty high demand?

Lag in Crysis is expected, especially once you start adding AA. I wouldn't don't think a 260 is going to net you much in the way of gains, unless you're finding that your SLI is scaling really poorly in spots, in which case you might see a decent boost to your minimum frame rates.

GTA4 seems to really need CPU power, I hear. Quad-core for best results.

hmm i think im gonna save up for new stuff in the new year.... i think its more driver issue cuase i just installed whql 181.00 off of 3dguru, boosted my fps nicely on warhead.

GTA4 loads up my dual core 100%. I put in my QX9650 and it barely hit 50% and was not loading all 4 cores. Another "Quad ready" game that just doesn't need it.

I'd wait and put your money on a GTX 295 or GTX285 whichever best suit your needs and budget, you might be able to score a GTX280 for much less if not lower once they are officially released.
