LOL
Every week ? You wish - There was a big gap this time between the 43 and 48, and one would expect some unresolved issues to be resolved this time around.
It is the update that allows multimonitor support. However, I am having difficulties with it. It seems that you cannot have both DVI slots filled, you have to use 1 hdmi port as well. Which means, you have to buy an adapter for it.. I'm pretty sure at least. Now, what i want to try is having my old 8800gts run my 2nd monitor while having my 9800 GX2 in SLI. however, I'm not sure if that is possible, so time to research.
EDIT: I can, as long as the other card is an 8 series or above card.

180.whatever downloaded and installed no problem and the ole 8800gt is chugging through Warhead a little nicer now. It can use "enthusiast" on about half of the settings and "gamer" for the rest now. Nice little upgrade there.

BTW, 180.70 is in beta now :) A little better than the .48s - includse beta CUDA 2.1 too ! and a performance booster for quadro - They seem to be modified quadro drivers but with support for most cards within 2-3 years - Think i'll be giving the 180.70 a try :)
Well I myself went back to 178.24. I had nothing but troubles with the new driver. Right after I installed it I would crash in Fallout 3 within just a minute or two. That really sucks since I was looking forward to the multi-monitor support for SLI.
Ah well, I will wait until the next ones and maybe try those. Playing and finishing Fallout 3 is more important. :-)
