Dual monitor problems
Hi there, my girlfriend found an old dell 17" crt monitor for $5 and grabbed it for me because she figured I'd like to play around with it. When I plug it into my 8800 GTS second DVI slot with its dvi-vga crossover and reboot the computer every thing goes good. Dual display works and looks fine. or so I thought...:shok:

As soon as i try to run annything the demands any major cpu performance the computer restarts, no bsod or freeze. It just restarts, when vista loads back up its all wokring fine still but crashes as sooon as i try to load the cpu again.

Anyone have any ideas on what could cause this? Im running windows vista home premium 32 bit, and my evga 8800GTS(640mb) with the 158.18 drivers.

What kind and how much memory are you running, apparently NVidias vista drivers have trouble with too much or high-speed memory
