Quick urgent Q... Found a 9800GX2 for "cheap"
 

I found a XFX 9800GX2 locally for 180$, good deal? something to check out for?

It's a pretty good deal I guess. Other stores such as NCIX sold the 9800GX2 at around that price as well before.

Edit: Might've mistaken $280 for $180 during one of NCIX's weekly sales....sorry. But check my other post.

That cheap? They retail for 350-380 right now.

Oh well... still a good upgrade from my 3870 that is going into a friends computer most likely.

yes its very good deal... one here sell the used one for 250ish... i bought it for 289cdn from ncix on the sale...

i recommend you to upgrade it from your old hd3870.... as long as its condition is good.

Yea, it was a good deal. However, we haven't seen that kind of prices since then, so just get it. However, make sure that it's retail and not open box and stuff.
