Will a 2180 bottleneck a 4850?

I am debating sticking my 4850 (when its back from RMA), in my 2180 rig, instead of the 6750 rig.

Will it bottleneck or will I see just a tiny difference, haven't noticed much difference between the 2 otherwise...

main reason is the 2180 has a 24" monitor, no I cant switch monitors

If you're looking at a good way to tell which system has Less of a bottleneck (aka more bandwidth for your 4850) you may want to try Sisoft Sandra Lite. I've been using it (and crying in the process) to check where my bottlenecks are in my system. Us the "Memory and cache" benchmark on both systems

oh I know the 6750 is "better", its just wether it makes much of a difference when you have a half decent card like the 4850, how much is CPU and how much is GPU?

I'd say it would bottleneck the 4850. Again that depends. If you play at 1280x1024, you can crank up the aa and anisio though and get some eye candy.

OC that 2180 to >= 3ghz and you should do fine in many games.
