I don't like BIA Hell's Highway for some reason..
Also, 8.9 works fine for me too, but I use Rivatuner to change my fan speed.

I was starting to have some major issues with games causing artifacts and crashing to the desktop........ mostly Crysis Warhead . I thought it was the 8.9 drivers but other games where fine, and Crysis used to be too. Turns out it's the cards powerplay feature changing the gpu speeds during the game and causing things to go for a shit. So, what I did was create two profiles with overdrive checked off in the settings list. I named one for stock/desktop and the other for gaming. I then opened the GAMING.XML file in notepad. For Vista users this file is located in C:\Users\%yournamehear%\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Prof iles. Oh and you'll have to show hidden files and folders to find it too BTW. Anyhow, this is what I changed in the .xml file........

Feature name="CoreClockTarget_0"
Property name="Want_0" value="50000" /
Property name="Want_1" value="50000" /
Property name="Want_2" value="84000" /

to............

Feature name="CoreClockTarget_0"
Property name="Want_0" value="84000" /
Property name="Want_1" value="84000" /
Property name="Want_2" value="84000" /

If you have a stock bios the number 84000 will/should say 75000, or whatever your stock 3D gpu clock is.

While I was at it I also changed the following which sets the fan at 50% speed for the GAMING profile........

Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_0"
Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Automatic" /
Feature name="FanSpeedPercentTarget_0"
Property name="Want" value="0" /

to

Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_0"
Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Manual" /
Feature name="FanSpeedPercentTarget_0"
Property name="Want" value="50" /

The STOCK profile is made so you can set everything back after you exit a game. I found these tweaks elsewhere on the net and I can't remember exactly where but HATS OFF to the first guy who figured this stuff out!!!!! It's easy to do and it cleared up ALL of the little issues I've had with card so far. *knocks on wood*
