HD 4870 by far, if you want to cheaper grab a 4850, if u want to splurge get a 4870x2
Sorry boys gotta say it...
GTX 260 (216 Core), if you want cheaper, GTX 260 (192) vanilla, if you want to splurge GTX 280 (they have realy come down in price, especially the vanilla Cards.

They really have....just curious, what kind of OC's are you able to get on the Vanilla version? I've heard mixed results for those. I was a "sucker" and with the SSC version (additional $60), but it does OC very nicely. Really, its a great Card!

Apparently the cooler on that sonic edition 4870 is VERY loud, it also doesnt exhaust out of the case all that heat goes right into your case. I think the review on it was actually right here at HC. It is a good card if you get a version with a dual slot cooler that sends the head out of the case. Not sure which brands to look for from ati as ive never purchased an ati card, the 260 may also be a good option. If you go with an nvidia card Evga is THE way to go, they have great support even though ive never needed it lol. Either them or xfx is a close second in terms of brand
