Default 7900GT + World of WarCraft

I have a quick question. I've never played WoW. Would a 7900GT be enough for that game, just a 19" monitor, regular resolutions, no Overclock. Nothing fancy..

I would say yes. I use to be able to play that game on medium settings with a Radeon 9550 without much lag.

My wife is playing on a 8600GTS on a 22" screen at 40-50fps.

You should be good :)

Only area you'll ever have ANY troubles with lag or slow down is in the Outlands in Shattrath.

Thanks Curt!!.. Just doing a build for a friend, and I was going to give this one for free, I have owned it for few years. I'll talk him into buying my 8800gtx maybe $200 or so.

An 8800GT retails as low as $120. It'll handle WoW like a champ.
