Thanks. I installed the monitor drivers but it didnt help. It looks like its the ATI drivers as said outputting a 70mhz refresh rate. I'll see if I can force it and will try a fresh install with 8.7.

Ah great ill try that.Iim getting nowhere with the ATI drivers and viewsonic has rotten driver support for this monitor.

un-install monitor driver, maybe vga drivers as well. if you can boot into windows without VGA drivers, see if windows installs default monitor driver, and leave it, then install VGA driver. Also, some bios will boot from second vga card first, so make sure to try ports on the other card as well. |
