Question 4870 cf-both cards dead??
Well I installed my 2nd 4870 today and both cards seem to have died. 1st time Ive had any card die on me let alone two.

The screen went black on the second boot. Windows was fine the first time. I had a HIS and a Visiontech. Neither card works on its own now but the rest of the system is fine with my old 7950GT. I took every imaginable precaution during install.
Any ideas?

Ok the visiontech card is now posting for some reason going to try the HIS.EDIt which works. Guy at NCIX suggested clearing CMOs and it worked-so l need to work out the xf again now.

MODs can delete this thread thanks.

I have no clue what happened but both cards work by themselves now after a CMOs reset. Im going to try cf again. thanks
