Cool Problem with my PC

Hey Gang,

OK here's what the problem. I started my PC up today and it booted to windows login. But my mouse was working. So I rebooted. And the system hung on the ASUS SCREEN. Wouldn't boot to windows. So I tried a few times. And same thing. So I unplugged the mouse and plugged it in a different USB port and it works fine. Does this mean I have a bad USB port?

Hi

I had a similar problem, my ASUS board would hang on POST or random USB ports would start crashing if I had my Logitech G5 mouse plugged in, used a different mouse and didn't have a problem. Can you plug in a USB drive into the port and see if it works?

Just some ideas.. Goog luck

I tried to update BIOS but it comes back with failed integrity check. I tried updating from 2 different USB drives and even off the HDD. Anyone have any insight why I can't update my BIOS?

FAT32: that is what he meant. Also put the flash file in the root of the flash drive.
