Default nVidia driver problems

I recently installed windows 7 on my pc after using ubuntu for about 6 months .I installed in ,installed my ethernet drivers ,and then installed the latest nvidia drivers for my gtx 560.I then performed all of the system updates for windows ,then finally installed swtor (my reason for installing windows in the first place). Here is were I started to run into issues. As soon as I launch the game I get sound from it,but my pc stops displaying any image and my monitor just gives me a no signal error. If I reboot windows loads fine,up until the log in screen ,were I run into the same issue. The only way to even get into windows is to use safe mode.If I do this and remove the nVidia drivers then I can boot into windows regularly.I have no idea how to fix this issue ,and I have tried every solution I can think of (installing various older drivers etc) .So ,anyone have any idea how I can fix this ?

If I alt tab the sound from the game goes away (I'm assuming it goes to the desktop) but still the same error message on my monitor.

Yeah Iv been playing games on linux and windows and not a single performance issue at all.I have also re installed the game numerous times as well.It is also worth noting that the game used to run just fine for me on a different windows install.
