My System Specs

Default Input lag

As the title says...

Running an i73770k (at stock till I get a cooler) on an MSI MPower z77
16GB Gskill RipjawZ 1866 ram
WD black 2TB as boot drive
SLI stock 780's
xfx 1000W platinum PSU (overkill I know but was on offer for the same as an 850W gold unit)
All wrapped up in a P630

I have a Logitech G700 mouse and a Cherry (non mech) keyboard.

No issues at the desktop, instant I move the mouse / type it registers.
In game I have about (guessing) a 0.3 sec lag on all input.
Disabling SLI appears to give SLIGHT improvement though this could be pure placebo.

tried with Logitech drivers installed / basic windows drivers.. No difference.
tried the USB2 and 3 ports.. no difference.
It is affecting both mouse and keyboard though I can live with the keyboard but not the mouse being laggy.

Any Idea's? Not really wanting to pull the card out but unless someone can suggest something I'm out of idea's..

Resplendence Software - LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks or DPC Latency Checker Trial and error latency monitoring until you find the culprit. I know for a fact Logitech's LGS has caused latency issues, but those should have been fixed with the more recent versions.

Otherwise try a wired mouse and PS/2 keyboard.

Have you tried disabling vsync? I know this is supposed to be less of an issue with newer cards, but hey. Are certain games better/worse?

Must try that tomorrow... Not one I've ever had an issue with TBH so I don't know the tricks to it. :)

/edit
v-sync helped loads in NS2, near perfect now (again maybe it's perception cos there was a problem).. Tomb raider not so much :(
That said I think it was a lil laggy anyway.. will try more games tonight... If it's just tomb raider I can live with it. :)
