I could bring it to work downtown tomorrow if you want. Let me know.

I just put it together again as i took the cmos battery out last night. It booed this time fine. Changed the bios for optimized defaults. Rebooted the system, got into windows. Things were looking very good. Until I tried to download windows updates and then it froze again. I had to do hard restart and then it came back with quick boots. Now its being that way again. I think its either the mother board or the cpu. I am borrowing skyllz mobo tomorrow to see if that changes anything. If not, it's not my psu, though it is a cooler master but stil, its a 1k unit. I tried it with my other z77 mobo and no issues at all.

Caldezar, i dont buy gigabyte(new), only used if its a good price. I only by MSI or ASUS new. Well mostly asus.

i believe its the mobo its happend to me before ...it was a gigabyte board too
The way i got it to boot up again was to take off the power cord wait like 15 sec and re plug it or change the memory dimm slot also you can try to boot without the cpu then reseat it

I steer clear of Gigabyte motherboards now for this very reason. Don't know why they can't figure this crap out after years and years of this going on. My top brands now are MSI and Asus. Sorry to hear about your luck but you may be better off trying to RMA it and then sell it asap.

Boot loops tend to be caused by memory issues in my experience.

It was infact the shitty gigabyte mobo. Skyllz was very kind enough to lend me his board to test my cpu and memory.

Thank you so much Skyllz and everyone else
