CTA how are the ram installed ? how many sticks ? for X58 is every other slot is the Tri-set using 3 sticks of ram

yup... 3x stick of ram... i tested it with memtest86+ a couple of months ago... it should be fine...

you leave computer idle no black screen?

it must be ati card then. i have ati card too and it blue screen in certain gam when max setting. no max setting no blue screen. and certain game it go white screen but not freeze. i play on same game with nvidia card and no problem.

i use nvidia card main now.

ati bad. but amd cpu is good. just ati card not good.

i never left my computer idle unless i use torrent or whatever... it just went black (the monitor shows as no connection or off) and frozen that you cant do something... just have to shut down then reboot the computer...

anyway bad news.. it only lasts good for 2 days then failed like crazy... it also failed a stress test by occt... it drove me crazy ;\


i tried two ati card... even crossfirex... i am sure its mobo...

I wouldn't blame amd/ati for this one. I have a very had time believing that 2 cards died at once. My guess is motherboard, power supply, or you had a major power issue that fried the cards (power surge or bad psu).

well its really weird... it no crashes so far.. (actually i just plug out the power cables for ati card when i went to bed)... i think it was capacitors problem.. dont know where...

i tested psu with voltage meter.. it was all good except weird 2.9v as 3.3v on bios o_O (just mobo mis-read)

just update...

i think my ocz ssd is at the fault... and information about ssd as 100% health is lie as cake ;\ but next time... how do i know if my ssd is really dying like ocz for one year?

btw i just use intel 520 and xfx bex... ;]
