So yeah I decided to finally build my first computer. bought the parts on directcanada on the 26th..

still on pending shipping ?



Gotta say I'm not even sure if I'm right lol I'm a complete noob when it comes to buying parts from an online retailer.

Considering you bought your parts on their busiest day of the year, I'm not too surprised. It will probably ship by the end of the week.

One time the site still said that for me and the package came in. If there's no action by Thursday or so, I'd send them a message asking if there's something on backorder.

SugarJ is completely right.

A) This is probably the busiest time of the year for etailers
B) It's not just DC, my boxing day NCIX order is still not shipped
C) Expect slightly longer transit time due to A), unless of course you paid for a time guaranteed service.

With all that said, DC does have a tendency to ship without the tracking number being updated until after the package is received.
