Exclamation XFX 7870 DD No Display

The GPU I had installed on my PC is GT 210. I uninstall the nvidia drivers and rebooted it. Then, I turned off the computer, installed the 7870 onto the mobo and connected one 6 pin to it (my current PSU has only one 6 pin, 7870 has two 6 pin slots). When I start up I get no signal on monitor, cannot see BIOS as well. Next I remove the 7870 and start up with onboard so I can get into BIOS and disable onboard graphics and enable PCI. Then I reinstall the 7870 and connect the 6 pin and then start it up, still no signal. I reinstall Win 7, repeated steps above and still wont work.
I have tried using Driver Sweeper in safe mode to remove any traces of Nvidia drivers.

Notes: I am using a DVI to VGA Adapter since my monitor only has VGA. The fans on the 7870 do spin. When I disable onboard and enable PCI while using GT 210 I get signal.

Specs:
CPU: i3-3220 3.30 GHz
Mobo: GAB75M
PSU: CM 500 watts
1st GPU: GT 210

Any help is appreciated.

Are you trying to run graphics cards on the PCI slot and PCI-E slot at the same time?

Do you have a system speaker installed (one that beeps at POST)? If so, are you hearing 4 beeps? This is the Video Card error signal. If you don't have a speaker installed, you're probably not hearing the 4 beeps.
You don't have all the power connectors plugged into the card. The card needs 2 power connectors installed to work properly. Your card should have come with an additional power adapter that you plug into two molex from your PS and then plug into your card, in addition to the PCI plug that your powersupply currently has.

Mistake on first post, I meant to say "enable PEG not PCI".
I have tried both PCIe slots (x4/x16), and neither works.
Unfortunately the card did not come with molex to 6 pin. My current PSU only has one 6 pin and the card has only one 6 pin connected. Would that be the problem?
I have also tried the DVI/VGA adapter on my 210 and it works. Tried on a different monitor and still black screen. Windows does log on (I can hear start up sounds), but no display.

Edit: On BIOS I had "Init Display First" and "Internal Graphics" on "Auto", while using 7870 with VGA/DVI adapter and VGA cable, I still get no signal. When I switch the VGA cable to the onboard (While windows is booting w/o signal) I get onboard display. Its as if the card isn't being detected at all.

Thanks a lot great big abyss. Unfortunately my card did not come with that connector. Would you reccomend getting that connector you posted above or just buy a new PSU entirely? So, in the end, I won't be able to get signal/get the card working, until I have two 6 pins connected? Sorry didn't know whether one 6 pin was enough.
Thanks for the replies.

Try the connector first. It will be cheaper than a new PS. Also, if it happens to be something else, then you're not out too much money for no reason (but I suspect that is the problem)

Thanks again. Got the molex to 6 pin. Works like a charm!
Really appreciate it.

Cool, glad it worked out for you. I'm surprised that your 500W powersupply didn't have at least 2 PCI connectors though.
