Default Graphics card fried!?

Hi there folks. Today my computer literally crashed to a hault. I removed every possible component minus the CPU and it turns out that when I plug in my GPU to the PSU the entire thing just doesn't boot at all. One fan will flash for a brief moment and after that nothing. The motherboard has power etc etc. I've tried different gpu's all working fine and I'm 100% sure it's not my 750w corsair PSU as it's more than enough to power a gtx 570... The stock cooler sucks FYI - Palit GTX 570... But yeah, It's still under warrenty so I dunno if I should get another... What do you think? Is there anything elsse I can do with it? :(

If you've tried other GPU's, I think it is safe to say the card is dead. RMA that bad boy.

I would make sure all power connectors are plugged in properly. Also make sure everything else is seated properly. Now see if you can get a friend to lend you another card. If that doesn't work try another PCIe slot.
cheers

I've got an RMA as this card was in warranty, it's fried and they don't stock it anymore so I need to wait 28 days for a new graphics card. *sigh*

If everything else is ok, it's probably the GPU, you should have bought a card from a better and bigger manufacturer :/ I don't say that Palit cards suck, but well, i would feel more safe with a MSI or a gigabyte!!! Hopefully it's under warranty, make sure to check the temperatures! Also check the airflow in your case

Anyway, if you have money to spend and you don't want to wait ,you can even get a better one, even a different one ,like a 660ti...

Or play minesweeper

But seriously, you must make sure that it actually fried, you should always have a program that shows the temperatures so that you know if the card is usually hot!
