Default is there a test for mouse?

I am wondering if there is software out there to test my mouse I am wondering because I was playing a game where I had to left click and it seemed like my left click wasn't actually working every time I clicked almost like every 4th click didn't work .

click random stuff and see if it works.. (selecting different items or something)

I'm sure there probably is some sort of test but really, it's very easy to check yourself..
