Default another cpu temp question

I have a asus maximus formula,intel E6750 not overclocked and AISUITE wont give me a proper temp for my cpu.sometimes it says it 250C sometimes 2C.Is there a fix for this.I havint updated my bios to the new beta.sorry for the noob question,im still learnin

just use Core temp or HWMonitor. The asus software is crap

Just use core temp for now.

My P5KE Asus tool gives silly readings BUT the bios it shipped with is very stable and lets me over-clock well.

I would only upgrade the Bios once you are sure it will OC well.

hmmm... you can also upgrade the bios if you run into issues with your pc. not only overclockers has to upgrade their bios.

i use speedfan for monitoring temperatures, but you can also use coretemps or realtemp. dont bother with aisuite thingy, its a pile of sh*t
