My System Specs

Default MSI 790FX GD70 no post

This morning when we received the DSL connection not all websites were working, so I said, ok we'll restart, just in case. Then the system refused to boot. The debug led was showing code 85, which is not even in the user manual. Mobo has latest bios. Luckily I have another PC and after troubleshooting the modem problem, (i found out to be the ADSL2+ modem we were using, as the previous provider was giving ADSL2+, so I changed to an old Siemens from Bell, that is a gateway combo that works fine now), code 85 on this mobo has a single reference on internet, something related to parity of videocards. So I took the system down, removed all videocards, started with one by one. Booted fine with the radeon 4350 single, Radeon 4350 and Gts250. But Radeon 4350, GTS250, 9800GTX and Radeon 4550 was a no go. Apparently will boot with a combination of Radeons and Geforces but will not display anything (I could tell as the DVI/HDMI cable was taking sound so I could here the windows startup sound in the TV speakers). So at the moment that I write this I removed completely the Radeons, I have only the geforces, the GTS 250 and 9800GTX+. They fold fine, and what I noticed they don't lag anymore either, the display is powered by the GTS 250. I find it curious that will accept the nVidia cards but refuse to work with it's own.

software issues with windows video drivers and old drivers

try getting current drivers for your hardware and use a video driver cleaner to remove old one's for each manufactor

Did you all those gpu's folding on that board before? Long ago I considered folding with red & green on my GD70 and decided not to based on driver conflicts.
