No keyboard, no mouse, no display...

ASUS M4785-M. This board has been in the closet for about 4-5 months and today I decided that I will sell it locally.

I tried resetting the BIOS, booting off case, 1 RAM, different PSU, onboard and PCIE video card, PS2 and USB keyboard and mouse. No fix.

I tried the CPU in another board and that one booted just fine.

check cmos jumper is term in norm position

and fresh battery if no go its DOA

if it was just the no keyboard or mouse I would say it is a usb problem . are all of your power connections plugged in ? also I am not sure how you can tell if the mouse and keyboard are not working when you have no video. is the video card inserted properly also check the ram try using just on ram stick at a time.

The laser lights up if mouse is working also keyboard mini lights on the numeric keypad blinks if it receives power. 1 RAM was tried yesterday.

I am starting to think this is a dead mobo. Will try again in a bit but I doubt I will make any progress.

Out of frustration, I pulled the CMOS chip out of its socket - which almost turned out to be a complete disaster with me bending the pins. I put it back on and she booted.
