Diagnostic tools for: PSU, CPU, Memory, Motherboard
Hey all,
I am having some problems with my new build. After installing different ram, it worked for a bit, now my pc is acting as if it's not stable.
You know when you over clock you cpu, and when you are in windows, and your cursor slows down or gets stuck for moment? It happens lots when I have mutliple windows open and or I am doing windows experience index thing, though it gives me 7.7, 7.8, 7.9, 7.9 and 5.9 respectively. That is what's happening to my system. I have changed 3 different hard drives, I have changed the primary from corsair f60 ssd, to wd raptor, to wd 1tb 7200 sata 2 hard drive.
I dont know what it is anymore, I have changed the mobos, 3 pair of rams, the new gskill ripjaw red ones to corsair 2000 mhz to now gskill ripjaw 1600 mhz 1.5 v blue ones. This is really upsetting, i have been trying to get this going for almost 2 weeks now.
HEre are my components, just so you know, I have updated bios, every single driver possible:
P67a-ud7-b3 mobo
I7 2600K stock
4 gig F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH
1 TB wd 7200 rpm sata2
2x EVGA GTX 470
Antec CP 850
I have tried using one video card at a time as well. Some people tell me it could be the hard drive. I am bringing my system tomorrow or Monday into canadacomputers to get a complete diagnostic done. I am so tired. THis is soooooooo stressful.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any diagnostic tools for PSU or cpu other than prime 95, intel burn test and mem test through bios. I have done them all and they work fine!
So I honestly think, it's either my psu or cpu. Not sure. If there is anyone local ottawa area and would like to test my i7 2600 chip if you have a sandy bridge, please let me know.
Thank you once again.
