Default H60 + P67A-UD5-B3

Went to finish a build today.. Have this combo and tried to plug in a usb mouse and keyboard and voila.. Check out this warpage! The only way I can put anything into the usb ports is by reaching inside the case and pushing down on that part...

I think the problem with this water cooled units is the back plate for the cpu socket. It seems that due to the thickness of the socket back plate when securing the mounting plate for the H60 it causes the back plate to REALLY warp badly.

Dial it back a bit mate, you've got it way too tight.

I had a similar issue with the H50, all I did was run the comp with the side open, and go a half turn back on each screw while watching the temps. No More warp. These things only need like 2 turns or something like that in the manual.

I did undo it the whole way and the board STILL remains flexed :(

Upon further inspection it looks like the massive heatsink on this guy is causing this board to warp really bad.

not exactly the same board but i can not see how this could happen theres 9 screws to hold this board in.
did you not have them all in for some reason?
now i aint being snarky. just something in the back o my head sayin that aint right
