I'm thinking about just RMAing the motherboard since I'm still crashing and nothing has seemed to help yet. Any last suggestions before I place the order?

I'm in the same situation than you. Did you solved your problem?

The hum sounds like a loose or weak audio connection. I get that often when I plug my PC into the stereo with two linked up old extension cords. Check you headphones or the connection between the mono and case jack.

And fix the other stuff first, I suspect the hum is not serious.
