By the way, the asus crash free bios mechanism works the exact same way, although they tell you to use the Asus CD that came with your board... but it never worked for me though

Neither of the recovery methods worked. Floppy drive was doing something, but after about 30 mins stopped and I still seem to have the same problem. Same ith the Asus "Crash free" thing. I think this chip is pretty corrupt. It had 3 bad flashes in a row. Which leads me back to my first question. Anybody know who can flash me a new chip (or at least re-flash mine). I wouldn't want to ask someone to do a hot flash, too risky to do to someone else.

Guess it doesn't matter now anyways. After about a week of waiting to hear back from the Asus RMA team, they sent me an RMA number for the board anyways. I really didn't think they would let me, as I have had bad luck with them before in similar situations. They usually blame the user for a bad flash, but in this case it wasn't me. It was their crappy EZ Flash2 software. No idea how much it's gonna cost me to send it to them, but in the end I guess it is worth it. Alot easier than finding a flashed chip and in the end likely cheaper. Thanks for all your help everyone!
