not sure why, but on older systems nv cards work better, well not better, but theres more chances of good compatibility/

so if someone brings me a dinosaur and wants a gpu upgrade, always tell him to look for a gen or two after his pc nv card :)

Glad to here everything's up and working Ging9, that's a nice upgrade from a 5870 to a 560 as well, what did you do with the 5870?

_dangtx_, I've never heard of NVidia being better for compatibility before, does that have something to do with better drivers/firmware?

no, its got to do with the mobo seeing or not the adapter, but were talking about g92 and such here, not gtx 580 l;ol
