While that may be true for switches, LEDs can only be plugged in one way and they won't light up if plugged in the other way (because of the diode). Unless your case uses light bulbs?

thanks guys for the help....the case is perfectly fine and actually pretty good besides the front panel switch.....
so blue and white were pwr, and the black, green and orange were , black for ground and i just put it with the green on the pwr led and orange was hd led. If I pulled the black no light was on!!! Really i just wanted to have a light to let me know that it was on because it's too quiet!!!
