Default WTF MSN

OK so i am trying to send my bro a file in msn. but it won't let me. I don't get a pop up complaining about there being no antivirus. It just won't let me. When i check the settings there is no file transfer settings available to me. But he can send me files no problem WTF.

The new MSN is full of gayness seriously.

I had to update mine because the old version they disable the links so that now any links you click on in 2011 goes to a secure site before you can view it.
It has also gotten ridden of the "Add Person to Blocked List" option

And these are just a few of my complaints about the new 2011 version.

Oh don't get me started on that POS that MSN, sorry Windows Live has gone. I don't even run the proper messenger and still have the added crap and headaches of dealing with it on trillian. Why did they have to change it, there was nothing wrong with the prior versions.

Ive started using Pidgen to consolidate my chat into one program. MSN is garbage, and it seems like no one uses it anymore. Dont get me started on hotmail being stuck in the dark ages only supporting POP

this isn't a new thing to the 2011 MSN.

just rename your extension (i.e. filename.zipREMOVE)

no tha's not the issue. the issue is when i go to send the file (drag and drop) i get the no symbol and it won't let me send it. If i go into options there is is no file transfer settings option.

I believe you have to let the Messenger client download the "OneCare" (I think it is, anyway) antivirus to check files before you send.
