Default P7P55D-E Deluxe No Post

Alright guys I need your help on this one.

Got this machine here that has the following board in it brought to me to look at it.

They originally had a Seasonic 600ET in it which didn't power up the board or boot.
So we switched in a Coolermaster 750w and it didn't power up or boot either.
So then we switched that out for a Antec Earthwatts 650w and it didn't power up or boot either.
Then we stuck a crappy Enermax 600w psu onto the board and voila.. it boots.

Is this board finicky when it comes to power supplies or is there something obivous I'm missing? All power supplies tested are good ones.

I know that the classified don't love certain CWT PSU. are those all on the same platform? If not, look at the PSU rail maybe the crappy enermax give much power on the 12V+ and the board just need this extra power. The last thing to look at is the 24 pin and 8 pin power connector. Maybe they are getting riped. Keep us up to date ;)

Thanks.

These are all brand new right out of the box PSUs so there is no problems with them at all.

But I will definitely check the 12v specs across the known PSUs.

Otherwise it may come down to a faulty board overall

So being able to power up the machine with the Enermax power supply found a bios error message of "USB overvolt" and found out the front headers on the case were broken causing the board to short out.

I'm assuming the board went into a circuit protection mode and the Enermax with the 35a on the 5v and 3v rail allowed the board to post.

Once I unplugged the USB header cable all other PSus tested fine.
