Default Computer freezes when downloading/loading

When ever I go to load or download something on the computer the entire thing just locks up. The loading part didn't weird me out as much as the downloading. It only comes back when the download is over. Is this the sign of a failing hdd?

possibly, but if you move files around and its ok maybe not.

load hdtune and look for yellow/red.

could be drivers as well if its got to do only with files from outside.

Checked the hdd specs and it's nearly brand new nothing wrong with it at all. I just realised it's a problem with firefox the download app is crashing.

Chrome is garbage, I'd choose Opera over Chrome. but try and fix your Firefox, make sure it's all updated and such. Make sure you have your windows fully updated as well.

Newest version I don't know why it's doing it, it's never done it before. And I agree chrome is horrible I would rather use internet explorer! I would honestly rather make a simple browser in visual C then use chrome xD
