My System Specs

Default UAA MS Driver

I folks,

I've recently rebuilt a rig for multi usage purposes. It's currently under XP sp 3. Everything is working fine beside the fact that each time I start the computer, I am receiving a message telling me that new material has been detected and it wants to install UAA MS drivers. My sound is working fine and all but it's just plain annoying to get this message every time I boot the system. I've tried some fixes, the one on MS site but it doesn't seem to do anything... I have tried installing those drivers manually but doesn't work either.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Try:

Disabling the MS UAA driver, uninstalling it, then re-installing your sound drivers

Where can I disable the MS UAA drivers as they do not appear in the system configuration list ?

Computer Management>Device manager Then, View>Show Hidden devices and then it will show up under system devices.
