Default Games Chain Crashing

my new computer just keeps chain crashing over and over while playing games , game locks up sound keeps going then it eventually just black screens and i have to reboot. At first I thought it was drivers so i got a older version same thing i'm just really confused why this is happening i think it might be my videocard.
Any Suggestions , or anything would be helpful because I have no idea , Thank you

Have you tried running a monitor program of some form (GPU-Z would probably work) to see what your temps / fan speeds are like at idle/load?

You can also try something like EVGA precision to peg your fan speed to 100% and if that makes the problem go away, you know you've got overheating issues on the vid card of some form.

I've been watching my cards temps usually idles around 38-42 with 60% fan speed.
I downloaded GPU-Z ill see what it gets to under a load

i would also check your memory. you can use memtest86 bootable iso for that

I used to have similar lock-up issues, which I eventually traced to the sound driver. Make sure yours is the latest version available.

BCCode: 116 looks like it's vid card driver related (google search), but if it's only happening on a single game, and all other games are fine, I'd suggest you make sure you've got the latest patch(s) for that game and/or check out their support forums.
