in some cases, i.e. compaq and the like, will pop a message on screen saying either 'warning....' or 'warning..system will now shut down' or in those lines if a cpu fan is not detected, but it will boot and get to that part if everything else is ok.

yes normally you just get a warning if not cpu fan detected.

ok. as per the other dude, threads a bit all over the place. did you take everything out and assemble on your table? if not do it. what other spare parts you may have or could borrow?

he's already there. pull battery adn do a long cmos reset is all i can think. can you try new card in other pc?

i got many other parts but the thing is thye all work with DDR2 Mobo..
and my stuff r DDR3,or,5
so i cant rely use thsoe parts..

and i tooke evrythign apart 3 tiems alredy..
