Watching Blu-Ray is Causing BSOD.

Just found a thing that will show you all the versions of their software that I have:

PowerDVD - Version: 8.00.3228
Power2Go - Version: 6.1.0.3224
PowerProducer - Version: 5.0.1.1520
MediaShow - Version: 4.1.3102.14059
LabelPrint - Version: 2.5.1916
YouCam - Version: 1.00.2609

I know you really only needed to know PowerDVD but thought it wouldn't hurt to get them all in there. All of them apparently are up to date and the only thing they offer me for the first three are Software Upgrades which I guess cost money and are not what I am looking for.

How can Nvidia's Best GPU not run a 3 year old game?

Maybe try reinstalling or updating the GPU's driver. If that doesn't work, try contacting EVGA. They might be able to find the problem.

I will reinstall the drivers now, then contact EVGA if it still doesn't work.. I hate all this trouble shooting lol.

That is clearly a driver a problem. Uninstall your codecs and get either new ones or update your current ones

I have the same problem, with the same Disk Reader, the same software and the same graphic card (everything else is the same in performance but not the same products).

I'm actually downloading WinDVD 2010, to see if it's a software compatibility problem.

I updated my motherboard BIOS, change the Disk Reader's SATA port, updated my graphic card and cleaned the Blu-Ray disk. Nothing changed for now.

My next attemps are WinDVD 2010 and use one RAM slot only.

I'll continue to post here if I find something. I expect the same from you

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!!

As I talked about sooner, I tried with Corel WinDVD 10...... and it worked!!!

So everybody who has a problem of BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) while reading a Blu-Ray disk with PowerDVD, well... it's a software problem (if you already know that your system is stable).

I hope it will help some of you out there!!
