Just thought I would update this post with a confirmation the board being dead. I bought a Gigabyte X58-ds4 for temporary use and the I7 920 that I bought from Arinoth as well as the 3x2gb I bought from Zsam works fine. I'll upload a cpuz screenshot.

Also, I sent the board out yesterday for RMA and crossfire has been doing his part. Even agreed to pay the rma shipping, even though it's only $19 ehehe.

nice. well not nice but nice to see progress. cross's 'mistake' was not stress enough the untested + short warranty part :) as far as i can tell,hes a cool dude though, not gonna rip you off or anything lol. him helping with the shipping? bravo.

Ya, not testing it, not letting me know it was refurbished and only had 90 day warranty. But meh, he did agree to pay shipping charges of $19 :P
