New SSD, trying to get the most space out of it.

I just finished installing windows 7 on to my SSD, and low and behold it's using up nearly 20gb.

However, when I check the properties of all the folders (including hidden) it only says 11gb. So what is using up all that other space?

Also what can I do to reduce the windows folder size and does anyone know if there is a way to move the User and Program Files folders to my secondary hard disk?

Thanks!

Left over install files, useless addon crap it installs, system restore. Run a disk clean up and you'll be surprised how much free space you'll get back

Also, if I recall correctly, turning off hibernate frees up an amount equal to how much RAM you have.
