Default Occasional Stuttering

So recently one of my comps started stuttering a bit from time to time. A song will make that odd electronic stutter for a few seconds and everything will return to normal. Same with the sound in games in stuff;

Off the cuff what do you guys think?

Audio Driver or something worse?

Are you using onboard or dedicated sound? Try reinstalling your drivers and see what happens.

It's onboard.

I'll do the driver thing now; I havn't even started sorting out the problem - just thought to drop a post first and see what everyone thinks.
