Default G5 right-click acting up

I have a G5 mouse (blue lightning edition)... bought about a year ago...
All of a sudden the right click function in game seems to be choppy and cut off. For example, suppose I aim down the sight in call of duty 4 (using right click), the weapon gets in my sights and quickly switches to un-sighted, and then back to sights again (I don't release, and so on and so on.... even though i click and hold the right mouse button.

Tips are appreciated. Next step is to reinstall setpoint methinks.

Ya...I'd suggest you reinstall setpoint first since it's easiest. Is it only CoD4?

try cleaning the contact? I know my copperhead will double click on the left click from time to time..and every time i've taken it apart and sprayed the contact it'll be fine for a bit (its a secondary mouse now, don't really care about it anymore)

lol, that works too. This is why I continue to buy Logitech. VX Revolution scroll wheel acted up (loose rubber), they sent one within a week to my doorstep, just needed proof of purchase.
