Power Bar Noise

Ever since I changed room, my power bar (Surge Protector) has been making a noise whenever my PC's 3 prong power connector is in. The outlet in wich the power bar is pluged in has no Ground and it only does the noise when it's the Pc's 3 Prong connector and not the screens. Is the noise normal and should I worry about it?

Probably an inductor somewhere in the power bar that's vibrating. It's not something you need to worry about. However, it's not a great idea to run your PCs on a non-grounded outlet.

sounds to me that home has ground issues that need to be addressed by qualified electrician. an yes not a good idea to run any electric device thats not grounded

the noise is failed part leaking voltage
between moniter and computer when connected parrelle on powerbar thats not grounded

Thanks, guys. I will have my outlets checked out.

What do you mean? I'm not even sure that statement makes sense altogether even if you did spell it correctly.

Plug your PC into a properly grounded plug ASAP.
