do what perineum said. my ram didn't run at the spec's/voltage automatcily when i built my pc. This was just my experience with my ram, dont raise your voltages if your ram is already running at its proper specs. This very well might have nothing to do with your ram, your computer symtoms just seem to be similar to mine when i had my ram trouble so i thought id share

Rule out the Ram using memory test 86 but I'm still suspicious of the board and/or PSU ... but run the test anyway.

Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic

Burn ISO to cd and boot to CD and your first device in bios...you might as well rule it out.

RUN your memory recommended voltages but set them manually not to AUTO as well as your other settings.

Hey Mark, I've tried running memtest before and there was no problem with it. (7 passes)

The Gigabyte 770T mobo is so weird because it doesn't let me change the ram voltages to 1.5V, only 1.6V...

What else can i do?

If everything else checks out okay then you've pretty much just checked out the motherboard.

Exactly. If you checked the memory, temps, software, driver, PSU and your connection then you've pretty much ruled in that the board has the problem.

Check the PSU as suggested in my initial post. Finally, remove the board ( since you will have to at this point ) and check it outside your case on an antistatic mat or bag. There are rare occasions that the board is shorting out.

If the board still has the same problem then you're pretty much guaranteed it's the board.

Let us know, I'm curious as well.

Cheers

During Memtest, my 720BE is detected as an Athlon without any L3 cache. Is it suppose to be like that?

Nothing to be concerned about but you can use version 4.0 which is better suited for I7 and K10 processors:

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Doing memtest right now...

2 (A/B) sticks pass 3 times (according the NCIX)

I'll probably done in an hour.

**UPDATE**
Stick A passes 3 times

Testing Stick B

**UPDATE**
Both stick passes

What's next to test?
