Need help setting up the LED's and lights on my BUILD

First of all Il tell you guys my build, I baught it all from Tiger.


I7 920
xfx X58i motherboard Extreme Edition.
Evga gtx 285
ultra 650w
and M9 VI1000 case

The case has some fans and LEDs lke the power led etc
I dont know where to put them on my MB
this is my first build thats why.
I found where it says HD LED
but does it matter which things i put it in
or is each led supposed to be in a certain slot.


please help

it's in your motherboard manual, if you lost it, you can download a pdf version on xfx website.

the manuel doesnt tell anything it just says like whats what like 9-cpu 7-pci-express slot .. but where do I put the led slots like ok il read it agian and check it opn the website...
dam computer building is stressfull!

Ok If the positive or negative thing is in the wrong place will my motherboard fry ...
on my wires it doesnt say whether postive or negative but on one side it shows an arrow so i used that as positive.

the color wire is the positive, the - will be the black or the white. like the hd is usally red and black, so the red is the +, no you will not burn the board if you reverse the wire of the led.

give us the color if you not sure.

shut donw the computer when you plug it, sometime, the surge create by the hot plug in of a led will burn it.

your board have 9 cpu and 7 PCIe, ? I know it's not waht you means, but I'm sure few will be interested by a beast like that

lmao I meant like
on the diagram of the board it shows arrow and for example a number 9.

and then it tells u what each number is
9 - CPU

but we would have to be in the space age for that lol

There is an extra Power LED E with 3 pins
do I need to connect thatÉ

And yes you were right, the colored is Positive and White is Negative same with the arrow is on the positive for me.
they should have atleast put a + sign.
