Spilled water, now won't power on.

This might not help in your case, but i once had a chick bring me a laptop that she spilled water on... like months before, i took it apart and it have some mad rust deposits some a quarter inch thick and the size of a quarter. I took after the deposits with a rugged paper towel and some 100% alcohol, the rust cleaned up surprisingly well and lo would you beleve it posted after that? the keyboard had to be replaced but otherwise, as far as i know its still working.

My advice is to pop the board out an make sure there is nothing funky goin on behind it, as those contacts WILL rust quite quickly.

Also, if your board wont turn on at all, and the psu tests ok, then its very likely that its a board problem. remove everything but the cpu from the board and short out the pins to turn it on, if there is absolutely nothing, i cant say 100% but i'd be very sure that its the board. i dont know any simple way to test a board or processor without removing the proc and putting it in a test bed.
