5 days later and not a single hangup or BSOD, stutter or anything bad.

The ram is the culprit. This is so damn lame, I took the ram in to the store for replacement in the summer stating this exact problem. They ran memtest on it and found nothing and wasted a week of my time.

I really thought at that point it was my other motherboard. Nope, the mobo is fine as even in switching to a new mobo I got the same issues.

Memory is always first on my list when troubleshooting. You swapped it out and you're good?

I'm going to make the ram check my primary priority from now on.

I haven't replaced the memory yet but I am good.
