Keepsix: im using usb 2.0, i know this as i have another western digital drive which is 2.0

thanks

Ok then, well thankyou for all of your help so far i really appreciate it!

I just had another thought could it be that my computer is quite old (around 2005) and that it needs an update or something to recognise the new technology of this hard drive? I know it sounds silly but just wonder if its possible? Or maybe a system restore could help?

thanks
