Default Hit by IT Drive - By!

So I book a couple of days to go fishing out at Prince Rupert. I get back to work, and look at the beauty job the kids from IT did on the new switch for lab A! Note the twist ties to hold the second bit up - inventive! Also, for the last little bit of defiance, the darn thing isn't even level with the white board behind it. Never mind that it is right out where clients can play with anything on it. And the wires hanging on the floor just say it all. It is one giant finger to management, no?

Anybody else have an interesting example from work? Don't identify your workplace, we don't need to get fired!

Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

And then it never gets fixed.

No kidding, this is what I found when I got back to work after a week off. I have to admit, it was so "in your face!" that I laughed out loud. I thought some of you guys would find it funny too.

I'd take a worker that was an hour late every day and give him a raise before I let whoever did that have another day at work period. No point in paying someone to do something that shittily.

All I can think of is, some machines needed to be wired up in the middle of the night, and the IT guys were out drinking and got called in to do it RIGHT NOW

if they suck that bad they should have at least pulled a fake office plant over to hide what they did until someone could make it right.

Yikes!

I have a good example that I had made into a despair poster, ill see if I can find and post it..
