Default Weird fullscreen game issue...:S

Hey,

Well last night I got home sat down and was about to enjoy a couple hours of gaming. When I booted up WoW the screen colors were totally messed up...almost like a rainbow and then was like another image of my character on screen.

I tried my other games and they were all the same, then I tried it in windowed mode...fine. Everything works fine in windowed mode but fullscreen is were I get the problem.

I took a screenshot of the screen when it was F*ed up but when I looked at it after the screen looked fine in the picture...creeped me out really, almost like seeing a ghost and taking a picture only when you look at the picture there is nothing there lol.

Anyways anybody have any Idea what could be the culprit here??

Hmmmm... thats a toughie. Which gpu/drivers and monitor are you using? Are you running at the native resolution or lower? Is GPU Scaling enabled in the graphics drivers?

Yes it certainly is a toughie lol...

Well I am running at 1680x1050 on my samsung T220 and that is the native resolution.

I am using the 186.06 nvidia Beta drivers, I also uninstalled and went back to previous WHQL drivers with no success :(

How do you set GPU scaling in nvidia control panel?

I will keep this updated

Well, I had a very similar issue with my 4870x2 recently, artifacts in fullscreen with both GPU's enabled, no artifacts if in a window. All it took for me was an uninstall of the 9.4 drivers, a Driver Cleaner run, and a reinstall. Maybe (if you haven't) you could try using Driver Cleaner.
