I have windows Vista.

I will try this:
Error message when you start a Windows Vista-based computer after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive: "STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE"

Hope it works.

I personally like AHCI better. Hot swappable drives FTW (especially in Windows 7, you can remove them without 3rd party tools). If you have XP/2003/Vista/2008, you can use the "Hotswap!" tool. Link: HotSwap!

It did the trick. I will enable AHCI because what's the point of buying SATA if you don't enable this anyway...
