Default System draws too much for new apartment?

Hi I've got a basic question. Could my system, overclocked i7, 4870's running on a 750w watt silencer quad put a strain on a houses electrical system?

I have it running off a decent surge protector but the thing is my new apartment is in a large old house divided into 3 apartments all sharing the same electrical circuit.

It really all depends on how much is hooked up to the same Breaker (the house will have all of its outlets divided into various breakers).
I highly Doubt you will hurt anything by hooking your computer into it all.

OK good to know, my landlord looked shocked when he saw my system. I guess its the cube case and the watercooling.

I explained that the PSU was very efficient and wouldn't put much strain on the system even though it was providing about 45amps/450watts to the components. I guess it probably draws 450/110= 4 amps from the socket?

Sorry I meant if the current landlord decided to me evict me based on the system being a hazard to the houses power! I really don't think its a problem though-he'll be fine with it if I describe how the psu transforms the power it draws from the wall in more detail.

The last one sold the house so that is why I left, although we were able to negotiate a decent amount of time to look for a place in the end.

2 things you need to check. Some older houses did not have grounded plugs and people would simply put the newer plugs in without having a ground wire to hook em too. If that's the case you may want to provide a ground for the plug that your system is on.
The next thing is you never want to hook your system to a circuit that has a large electric motor on it ( think furnace fan old fridge etc) they can cause spikes when they shut off.
