Default New PC No display!

I just built a new computer. Everything is working (fans, heatsink, videocard lights and fans, LEDs).

but when i turn my pc on, the monitor says ``no signal``.

What is wrong with my pc? Please help!

AMD phenom II 940 BE
Stock heatsink
Gigabyte GA-MA790x-UD4P
G.skill DDR2-1066 8gb (4x2gb)
Sapphire Radeon HD4870 1gb
Corsair TX650 PSU

First things first, double check all your cables paying mucho attention to the motherboard and video card power cables, Reseat the ram and make sure they are all sitting properly.
Are you getting a "post" beep from the computer speaker?

from speakers? btw, all my cables are correctly connected.

No, from the speaker on the motherboard, it will beep once if the board posts.

Im not sure. I hear few "dood". not loud though. And my case's status led is red.

is it the problem with the cpu? Cause the stock heatsink of Phenom II 940 was hard to install, i pushed it in pretty hard.

If your hearing a few beeps when it starts, these are beep codes that will tell you what isn't working..
I'm not sure what bios your board has but here are the ones for the AMI and Award Bios
AMI & Award BIOS beep codes
